President & CEO, Sapphire Strategy

Jenn Lisak is the President and CEO of Sapphire Strategy. Since graduating from Butler with her Bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2010, Jenn has played an active role in the digital marketing industry in Indianapolis.

In 2011, she joined the team at DK NEW MEDIA, a new media agency owned by Douglas Karr, where she was in charge of client strategy and management. After three years with the agency, Jenn was promoted to Vice President and Partner at 26 years old for her dedication to the business and her clients. At that time, she was responsible for complete client operations.

During her time at DK New Media, Jenn received the following accolades:

  • Finalist nominee for Indy’s Best and Brightest award in the Technology division in 2012 and 2013.
  • Received the TechPoint Tech 25 Award honoring emerging tech leaders.
  • Client Widen wins “Killer Content Award” for an infographic story she produced and managed.
  • She also worked with nationally recognized clients like Angie’s List, Delivra, Compendium, ExactTarget, GoDaddy, and more.

After branching out on her own and starting her business at the beginning of 2017, Jenn has been able to quickly scale Sapphire Strategy and hired her first employee, Kylie, in March of 2017. As a result of the growth, Sapphire Strategy opened its offices in the StartUp Alley of Union525 in August of 2017.

Community Involvement

Throughout her career, Jenn has been focused on giving back and being involved in the community. In 2014, she served as a member of the Connectivity Committee for Plan 2020, the bicentennial plan for Indianapolis and Marion County. She was also a part of Class 3 of Indy Hub’s 1828 Project, a gathering of young leaders between the ages of 18 and 28.

In 2015, she was elected as the co-president of the 1816 Board, the associate board for the Indiana State Museum. She served with her co-president, Sara Croft, for two years, helping engage young professionals with the museum and bring in corporate sponsors for their annual fundraiser.

At the end of 2015, Jenn became involved with the Indianapolis Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO-Indianapolis) as an in-kind corporate partner. Since the beginning of her partnership with NAWBO-Indianapolis, she has been an active member of the Communications Committee, has helped grow the organization’s social following, hosted and produced the “Driving Business Forward” podcast, and joined the Programs Committee at the end of 2016. At the beginning of 2017, she became a member of the chapter, in addition to being a corporate partner and actively involved in two committees. Jenn was named co-chair of the Communications Committee in May of 2017.

In July of 2016, Jenn became a board member for King Park Development Corporation, a non-profit community development corporation (CDC) committed to improved housing, economic development, and quality of life in the King Park area. After working with the organization for over two years and seeing the impact they made in the Indianapolis community, she was passionate about their mission and their efforts with the Build Fund, a loan fund operated by King Park and the only CDFI solely devoted to supporting economic development in Indianapolis. In December of 2016, Jenn and her fiance Ryan moved to Herron Morton, a neighborhood in King Park.

At the beginning of 2017, Jenn became a member of the 500 Circle, a group of executives and entrepreneurs who have a desire to share their knowledge and experience toward developing women leaders. The minimum donation of $1000 for the 500 Circle supports the Pass The Torch for Women’s Project Grow program, which provides mentoring relationships and leadership training to female college students, as well as programming for emerging women leaders.
