Reporter, Indianapolis Business Journal
Lindsey is the North of 96th reporter for the IBJ—a role she’s had since February 2015. The North of 96th beat includes all of Hamilton and Boone counties, but most of the coverage is focused on five large communities—Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield and Zionsville. Within the coverage area, Lindsey focuses on economic development, local and state politics, transportation and real estate. She also covers philanthropy for the IBJ, which means examining trends in the not-for-profit sector, writing about how not-for-profits operate as businesses and tracking significant donations in the Indianapolis area. Lindsey graduated from Indiana University in 2012. The Michigan native has also worked for The Arizona Republic in Phoenix, The State Journal in Frankfort, Kentucky and The Herald-Times in Bloomington. She has won several regional and statewide awards for her reporting.
