Brad Niemeier, 29, is the owner and founder of Azzip Pizza. Brad graduated in 2012 from Purdue University with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. He won the $20,000 Grand Prize of the Burton D. Morgan Business Plan Competition with the idea for Azzip Pizza. While at Purdue, he was also a walk-on defensive lineman on the football team. In 2014, Brad, along with business partner Chef Blake Kollker, started the first location in their hometown of Evansville, IN. Today, Azzip has 7 locations with stores in Evansville, Newburgh, Bloomington, Lafayette and Terre Haute, IN, and Bowling Green, KY.
Azzip Pizza was named the Best New Restaurant in 2014 (Evansville Living magazine), Gold Award for Best Place for Pizza in 2015, 2016 & 2018 (Evansville Courier & Press). Azzip also won Favorite in Best New Restaurant 2016 (Bowling Green Daily).
Brad won the 2015 Southwest Indiana Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Evansville Living magazine.
